I just got this printer as a sale item for a little over $30 and am fairly happy with it so far. Pretty easy to set up with the provided software, ink is easier to install than in my old HP Photosmart printer. I was able to get it connected to several Android devices fairly easily with free or previously purchased apps which was amazing, and Conon has an app in the Android Play Store which allows you to work the scanner and print photos directly from your Android device which was cool. My only real complaint is the fact that it seems to not stay "online" for very long so I can't just out of the blue decide I want to print from my computer because it seems to go "off line" after a certain duration and forces you to reset the printer (turn off and turn back on) before using it. Not sure if it's just something I'm doing wrong but this is my experience with it. The prints are great and give you a lot of printing options.

Setup was easy. Quality of printing is good. If you leave the door closed, it will open automatically when the print comes out.

It was the easiest thing to set up!!! it took me less than 20 minutes.
I left the door closed and when printing it open itself up. The quality of the print is very good - being ink and no laser-. The cartridges are included, one color and one black, and are not expensive at all when the time to replaced them comes.

It is compact but has full function already.
This is an ideal printer for everyone who just need for daily usage.

the wireless part is wonderful! I can print from anywhere with in the wireless range & I haven't found the end of the range yet. with blue tooth enabled on my phone & my computer, I can print from my phone. Print quality is just as good as any printer I've ever owned. The quiet feature is kind of a joke though, its not any quieter with it than with out it.

This Canon customer has lost complete faith in making any further purchases from Canon, (2) this customer will tell everyone he knows via Facebook, comments at Amazon, ect. ect., to get the word out that Canon Printers with scanners will be unusable if the scanner goes out. When a scanner does go out, the printer is inoperable due to the error code status of the machine and no printing is possible, even though the printer works fine and you can even print test patterns. And the replacement of a scanner is more than the actual printer costs. Thus even though the printer technically works, Canon engineering has unfairly, greedily designed it so that you, the customer who bought the Canon product, may not use the printer without forking over substantial dollars for repairs first. Canon potential customers, and certainly I do, should look at such product design as legalized theft of customer money. Congratulations Canon, on making 80 bucks off me and guaranteeing I will never buy another product of yours again, and hopefully will be able to communicate the truth of your poor products to potential customers so that they will not in turn be cheated as I was.

Sincerely,

Robert Bayer

I got it because I need a small printer to go in a tight place, it fits' like a dream. I had no problem getting it set up with my wireless connection,'' it only took a few minutes once I figured it out. And it works fine, no problems. I will always buy on Amazon, and always buy Cannon.
