Canon PSC-1000 Deluxe Blue Leather Case for the Canon SD1000 and SD770IS Digital Cameras
This case is specifically designed for the Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS Digital Elph Camera (esp. the blue one). It protects the camera with a well made leather case enclosure. It does however add bulk to the total camera carrying experience. There is a slot in the top of the case so the camera's carrying strap can go through. Also the Case has a belt loop on the back.
If you carry additional batteries, memory cards, etc. this is NOT the case for you. If however, you are looking for a case specifically designed for this camera; then look no further. It's specifically designed to protect the camera ONLY.

I purchased this when I got my Canon SD770is camera. Within 24 hours, I was researching for a better case for my needs. After my research, I went online and purchased a Case Logic UNZ-2 Small Universal Pocket with Screen Protection (Blue/Silver). Simply, the Canon case is very bulky and I buy the Powershots for their function and their size. I want a case that I can easily put in my pocket and hardly realize that it is there. For my needs, I wouldn't use the Canon case if it were given to me. There is no doubt it will protect your camera, but the extra bulk and lack of any flexibility are a big downside for me. On the other hand, I absolutely love my Case Logic case. Frankly, if the Canon case is that large, you should be able to carry an extra charged battery and an extra memory card. But, you can't. Two thumbs down for this Canon case.

I bought this to go with my wife's new Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Blue). The camera fits perfectly in it and has a magnetic flap that keeps the flap securely in place. While it adds to the bulk of the camera, it's a small price to pay to keep the camera safe. It's definitely a must add-on for the Canon camera.

Very nice and well built case. Using it with Canon SD1100 and it fits great and design protects from day today life.

Bought this case for my Canon SD770IS and it's very good, the camera fits in perfectly and it protects in very well. Of course it makes it all a bit larger so I only use it when I really need to protect my camera, if I carry the camera in my pocket or so I don't use the case. Like the magnetic closure, works very well, easy to open and close.

I cant think of many positive things to say about this case. What I wanted was a slim case for my SD770IS. I was surprised how bulky this case was. It turned a slim camera into a bulky object that hardly fit in my large cargo pockets. If I wanted a large case, I would have wanted one with pockets to store batteries, memory cards, whatever! The only thing that potentially might have made me keep this case would have been a solid clip. Unfortunately, its just a cheap leather belt loop. Lame!

The construction is solid, I will admit that, but the case simply is poorly designed.

I wanted perfect fit case not a lose one that is proposed....
this one works clean for my SD850IS...

Excellent Case. Not bulky and fits the camera well. I highly recommend this case if you have the Canon SD1100IS 8MP digital camera.

Nice camera case. Exactly what I wanted. The camera fits snugly inside and there is no room for anything else. There is a extra peice of flat material on the back which I guess you could slip a belt through but I don't know who would wear this case that way. The blue matches the blue camera well and the metallic canon tag on the outside of the case is magnetic and thus stays down when the case is closed. The camera wrist loop can be pulled through a slot in the top of the case and used to carry the entire case or coiled inside the top part of the case. I am very happy with it.

If you own a Canon Powershot Elf point n' shoot camera that will fit inside the dimensions of this little case, look no further for a storage/carrying solution. I have never seen a better-suited carrying and storage solution. Wish I could say the same for my SLR's. Fits securely on your belt with a sturdy leather loop made into the case...never worry about it falling off. The magnetic keeper on the little cover has just the right tension for open and closure when you want to "draw your weapon" from the holster and fire away! It's handsome, it's well made, it works like a charm, and fits snugly to the waist helping you to always be ready for that "Kodak" (or Canon) moment. Besides it carries the Canon insignia on a little chrome applique right on the front of the cover. Classy! I'll give it six out of 5 stars! This is probably an overstatement, but if small camera cases had an elite class, this little guy would be right in there.
