Canon PSC-3100 PowerShot Case for Canon SX200IS Digital Cameras

I purchased this case for my Canon SX210is. I was linked with accessory products on the bottom of the camera's page. The case is very reasonably priced for the quality of the construction and the leather. The snap closure is secure yet easy to open and close.

What I don't like is that the case is too large for the camera. I don't want the camera to be so tight that it is difficult to remove or place in the case, but the the camera is so loose that rattles around in there. Most people who wear the case on their belt don't really want unnecessary extra bulk. This case could be much better sized for this particular camera.

You can purchase a case of this size that offers spare battery/card storage. Because of the bulk without extra storage I give the PSC-3100 3 stars.

I ended up purchasing the Lowepro Pods 20 case and I'm very happy with it.
It is a snug fitting case but still easy to get the camera in and out. It also has storage for an extra battery and SD card. The link to the case is below.

According to the Canon website, this case works for PowerShots SX100IS, SX100IS (Black), SX110IS, and SX200IS. I have the 110 camera Canon Powershot SX110IS 9MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Black), and the fit is snug but good. The quality of the leather case is excellent, with a magnetic clasp, a hole in the top for the camera strap, and a belt loop on the back. The case is only large enough for the camera, so if you need accessories, you'll need to accommodate them separately. Protect your camera with this outstanding bargain.

Good quality case. Fits the SX200IS well. Every once in a while the snap on the flap pops off, but most of the time it's fine. I would buy it again.

While I have a larger case to hold all the batteries and extras, I wanted a case that I could put on my belt to keep the camera handy on some days. This is perfect...my camera, the PowerShot SX110 IS, just fits in the case, so it is as small as possible. The case was shipped to my house much quicker than expected, also.

Though some have indicated problems with this case, I found it to be a perfect fit, nicely constructed of good quality materials. Extra benefit is the "belt loop" is a perfect holder for a spare battery - I think Canon actually plans it this way, as my case for another Canon works the same way with a smaller battery. Excellent price - if this is the kind of case you're looking for, then go for it.

I finally had to replace my old Canon Powershot camera. The reason for this is it got dropped one too many times, denting the body and making the camera really slow. Because of that, I decided I needed to purchase a protective case for my new Canon Powershot SX200IS camera.

This case isn't fancy, it doesn't have any extra pockets or bells & whistles, but it's a good, solid case that fits the camera well. There is a belt loop on the back, and your camera's strap fits through the top, so you have 2 options to carry the camera in the case.

There isn't any extra room for batteries or SD cards, but I've found the batteries to last through several hundred photos, and the huge storage size of the SD cards means I don't have to switch those out often.

This camera has been dropped on the floor by my 3 year old, but this case protected my investment, so it's absolutely worth it to me.

If you need a larger case to carry a flash, extra batteries, extra cards, etc., then this is not the product for you. If you want something small that will protect your camera, this is a great purchase.

Great case, fits the Canon SX200IS perfectly!! One thing that would make this better would be to have an extra pocket to put an extra SD card, just in case.

If you are buying expensive camera please don't cut yourself short by buying cheap case. This case is great in every way and the price is reasonable too. The case is well build and the camera fits in nicely.

This is a good camera case. I owned the exact case for my Canon Powershot SX70. It fit snugly. Canon sells this same case for the Powershot SX200is. The fit is a bit looser. I would prefer a smaller snugger case but it is serviceable and a very well made case.

I agree with another reviewer. Well made and designed but the SX210IS "slops" around in it - there is about 1/2 inch space on all sides. Definitely should not be recommended by Amazon to go with this camera.
