Canon PSC-500 Deluxe Soft Case

I purchased this case for my Canon 1000IS digital camera. It fits it like a glove. The only thing is remember it doesn't have extra slots or pockets for spare batteries or memory cards. Not really a big deal if you have batteries that will last you or a large enough memory card (or carry the spares in your purse, backpack, etc). I mainly purchased this to protect the camera from scratches or getting bumped while it's in my bag.

First off the case is sleek, well built, and you're camera definitely feels protected. Don't pay attention to the reviews about not having space for an extra memory card. An 8gb card will hold 2505 pictures on the highest setting, unless you take hundreds and hundreds per day its a moot point. I also get roughly 300 pictures per charge and put the other two batteries in my pocket.

I wanted this for my Canon A1000IS. The case is just the right size. The camera fits comfortably. The case offers protection for the LCD when the camera is not in use. You will need something bigger if you want to carry any accessories.

There is a belt loop on the back of the case.

This is a very nice case. It has a lot of padding in it so the camera is protected and the there is a belt loop on the back. I got it for my cannon A3100IS and it fits great. The price is great too.

The case is nice though not as small as I expected. I also didn't realized it lacked a strap. All in all, it's okay because it provides great protection for my camera. I let the camera strap hang out of one side and use that to carry it.

The case fits my A1100is perfectly. It's not flashy or anything (though the metal Canon logo is a nice touch), but it protects the camera well and it was very cheap. It's been riding around in my book bag for a couple of months now and neither the case or the camera look any different than when I bought them. There's no room for a spare SD card, but honestly, if you're shooting 4GB+ pictures with the little point and shoots that fit in this pouch, you probably need to invest in a beefier camera, too :)

When my package arrived I was taken aback at the large size of this camera case - the large exterior size is due to the thick padding. I've purchased many much more expensive cases for my cameras, and this Canon case is the most thickly padded of all my cases. No room to store any batteries, but I always make sure my batteries are fully charged before leaving, so that's not an issue to me. This will fit on a rather wide belt, and you can always dangle the hand strap of your camera outside of the case and carry it that way also. Has a Velcro closure.

The Canon PSC-500 is an aesthetically designed case for carrying a newer 2009 model Canon PowerShot digital camera and it is attractive to the eye. My main caution to other buyers with this camera case is that it fits around the camera too tightly - to the point where it rubbed the icons off the mode dial on top of my camera and required me to send my camera back to the Cannon factory for a new/replacement mode dial. Personally, I will buy a different case for my new PowerShot 2100 ISC camera as I prefer a camera case that holds other needed items such as extra batteries, an extra digital disk/chip, etc. This case barely has room for the camera only and is also not a "sealed" or zippered case, protecting the camera from water, weather, etc. While it is streamline, the emphasis on this cases' utility is "minimal."

This case is very great quality, just keep in mind that this case does not have a pouch for memory cards or room for extre batteries. Its a nice case but dont plan on going on vacation with just this case.

I bought this case last month for my new canon 1200. Online, the dimensions of the case interior seemed like they would fit the camera without being too snug. In reality though, the case is way too loose and if not for the velcro, the camera can easily slide out. This case is too big to be carried in a pocket or a small ladies' handbag. On the plus side, if it does fit your camera, the padding it provides is heavy duty; the camera would be well protected from a fall. The belt-fitting is fairly decent as well.
