I use this paper for large format professional photos. With the standard Canon S9000 ink and this paper, photos are rated as "archival" quality (25 years no fade) which is good enough for some of my gallery pieces. The quality of the output on this paper with the Canon S9000 is better than any printer in its class. The ink/paper combination even smells like traditional film based output. Large format photos print and dry very quickly and rarely have quality issues. One warning, the paper comes in a resealable cello wrapper. Be careful that you don't lay a photo on the outside of the wrapper. The glue can stick to the photo, destroying it.

I use this paper with my Canon S9000 printer to get large blowups of the shots I take with my Olympus E10, and I get sharp images and rich colors. I've scaled down some prints to 11x14 so that I can fit them into standard 11x14 mats and 16x20 frames. I have printed some 13x19 pixs and the quality is excellent, but they will have to be custom matted, which can be expensive.

This is the paper to use if you have a Canon S9000.

Digital photography has come a long way!

This is extremely high quality photo paper best used in Canon photo printers. The 13" by 19" is used best with the Canon I9000 printer series, with a web of 13". This paper resists moisture damage and has archival quality.

I purchased this paper to go with my new Canon I-9900 printer and love the results. I first tried the Canon matt photo paper thinking it would be best because I'm not a big fan of the glossy photos, but the paper was not what I expected the results were below par. The glossy photo paper is the way to go! I cut off the excess paper after printing my large photos or 12x12 digital scrapbook pages and use them also, no waste here. Great price too!

For most printing needs, you will obviously not need paper this size. Most people will tend to use papers ranging from 4x6 up to 8x10 that will fit in albums and small picture frames. If you are a serious photographer, however, and you capture a truly beautiful image you would do well to consider printing it on this size paper and watch your photo take on new life. For scenes with a lot of fine detail, in particular, the extra size takes them to an entirely new level. I have several shots printed on this paper framed in my home and have recently purchased a folio so that I can selectively print more prints to show family and friends without having to take up wall space.

The Photo Paper Pro represents the finest of the Canon glossy papers with the longest life span. For most photos, this will be the obvious paper to choose. In the past year, however, Canon has added to its stable of 13x19 papers. If you're using this for a business presentation or other jobs that are less demanding you can save a few dollars by buying the Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy 13x19 20 Sheets (7980A014). Fine art photographers have been given several choices, although they are all very expensive. The top of the line of these appears to be the Canon Fine Art Paper Museum Etching 13x19 20 Sheets (1262B007) which costs to nearly $4 per page.

In summary, I highly recommend this paper. It should last for decades if properly framed and produces outstanding images. It's well worth the expense for your best photos to be shown to their full potential.

The quality of this paper is superb! I purchased this to use with the Canon i9900 printer. The quality was such that I showed a few prints to friends. They were offering to buy them to frame and display. It doesn't get much better than that!

Canon Photo Pro Paper S9000 is some of the best I've used. Color reproduction is outstanding and I really like the thickness. It holds up well and is great for framing. The cost is really reasonable for the size.

Gives excellent results for photos, if you want a glossy print. Very good.

The results are amazing when used with the Canon I-9900. But, I suggest that you limit handling to avoid scratching.
