The accessory kit was purchased at the same time as our Canon A720is, also from Amazon. The main reason was to acquire some rechargable batteries and charger which are fine. The batteries are providing plenty of power for what we need. However, the rest of the kit leaves plenty to be desired. The camera case fits the camera perfectly but has zero room for batteries and cords. And the flexible tripod is only about 6 inches tall and has difficulty holding the camera upright because the connecting hole on these cameras is all the way to one side. This makes the center of gravity is so far off to one side that the camera is very unstable at best.

I purchased the Canon digital camera accessory kit mostly to obtain the camera case (the rechargeable batteries were a plus). When the kit arrived I found that while the case is very sturdy and compact, there was no carrying strap! The only means of carrying this case is provided by the slots on the back where it threads onto your belt. If you don't wear a belt there's a problem. Loops and a detachable carrying strap would have made it far more useable.

i bought this as i wanted the case and a AA charger. i haven't had to recharge the batteries more than once, but it came w/ 4 2900 mAh AA's which i'm really pleased with (unusually high capacity). The case seems to made w/ canon quality and fits my mothers A540 perfectly, with a pocket for a memory card and spare batteries. For $23 I'm happy. A similar charger alone would be that price or more. It charge's AAA's too and four at a time. The cleaning kit is good to have and i probably will never use the tripod, so that's a freebie for me.
If you need a charger, batteries & case i would definitely recommend this.

I mainly ordered this package for the camera case and battery charger. The camera case is exactly what I wanted. Has only room for the camera and a slot for a memory card, but thats fine with me. I would recommend buying the case and a different battery charger separately, even though it may cost a little more. Only one side of the battery charge works properly, the other half lights up as if it has fully charged the battery even though it hasn't. The tripod, 4 inches tall, is cute, and could be used in conjunction with the camera timer if needed. The other items are pretty worthless.

I was really impressed with this product especially since I had an issue with the battery pack.....I simply called the company and they sent me an updated new model at no charge.....Amazon has certainly made internet shopping a very positive experience....thanks

I ordered the kit only to find that the tripod was less than 6" tall. Of literally no use to me. But the other things like the Case, Battery Charger and and the lens cleaning kit was good. The baterries supplied are not long lasting. With a pair of the battery supplied, I was able to take only about 150 Pictures using my Cannon A580 Digital Camera.

The case is the true 'Canon PowerShot' case which is sold for just under $10.00 elsewhere on Amazon; it has an extra pocket for batteries. This kit also contains a memory card case, which isn't mentioned in the description. Those two cases along with the batteries, charger and five piece cleaning kit makes it a very good buy. I haven't tried the tripod yet, as this kit arrived before my new Canon camera!

The camera case is nice but the batteries are not very powerful and do not have much lifespan until they need recharged. I would recommend Buying name brand rechargeable batteries instead. The rest of the stuff included is just neat little extras that most people will not use for these point and shoot cameras. Although, the tripod is pretty neat.

A good kit - I really love my camera but the batteries don't last long at all. It is very easy though to charge them up with this battery charger. I was very pleased with the quality of the case - its well padded and fits snugly around the camera.

Worth the price for all that you receive. I Love, love, love my Cannon PowerShot and this is a wonderful accessory to have. Purchased it at the sametime I purchased camera and am so glad I did. I still prefer lithium batteries overall, but this is still a great deal for the money, even if you just want the carrying case. Highly recommend!!
