Still getting used to all the functionality on this camera, but so far it's exceeded all my hopes and is fun to use.
I would say "easy to use" but that's not quite the case. I don't mind taking the time to learn, but there is almost too many functions on this camera. I think the picture viewing functions have far too many options, redundant at best. I really only need one because after that, they are going to be downloaded. Why waste batteries looking at your photos on a camera when you can't view them at optimum anyway? Love the stabilization feature and the video. The video will basically shoot until you run out of disk space, so armed with a 10 gig card, you could shoot at least 15 minutes. Great feature, as most handheld "still" cameras give you a 10 sec. video run time and that's it. I had no idea that I was basically buying a video camera, so it's a huge bonus. Stabilization lets me shoot without a tripod in some cases, it's just that good. The camera does eat up batteries, so that's why I've given it 4 stars, but in this day and age, small price to pay especially when you can recharge them. All in all, a great product for consumer-based cameras. |
