The camera info does not say it has any internal memory. It will take SD, SDHC, SDXC memory cards of any capacity. Hope that helps. I always use memory cards so really hadn't paid much attention to whether it had internal memory.

I don't think so, because I tried to connect the USB cord through my laptop & I don't believe that I was able to charge the battery that way. It's been a while since I tried. The battery is easy to remove from the camera & charges fairly quickly.

I've used both. I have an ELPH & purchased an A4000 for a gift & use it occasionally (my mom got it as a gift). They are very similar.

The jagged arrow keeps it on so it will flash every time you take a picture
