Bought this camera to take pictures of the great barrier reef. I found it so easy to use. It's my first camera of choice whenever and wherever I take pictures. If you are a casual camera user you simply can't go wrong with this camera. It WAY exceeded my expectations. Take it with you ANYWHERE you want to go! I haven't had any problems with it in almost a year of use. Battery lasts forever, takes equally great pictures whether exotic fish or newlyweds. What's cooler than that? In my opinion, this camera is a very good value.

I have had this camera for a few weeks now. First, I like Canon cameras. The menus are easy to use and intuitive. I took this camera to our local water park and got lots of great pictures of my kids playing. I also used the video to take movies of myself going down the water slides. It worked great.

I also took it camping. We went on a float trip on a small river. My only complaint is that the lense fogged up in the cold water on the river.

Other than that, it is a great camera.
