I love this easy to use Canon Powershot SK10IS and the deluxe accessory kit. I've got everything I need to start taking pictures of both my family and antique items that I sell on the internet. I can't see any draw backs at all. Maybe the only thing might be the lens cap because it doesn't attach to the camera and I'm afraid it will get lost or damaged.

Excellent quality camera. Don't let the fact that this is "only" 10mpix fool you... great pix!! The optical zoom provides GREAT shots. Beyond the optical zoom, the digital zoom is more for snapshot stuff. Digital zoom, by nature, drops pixels and blends, to achieve greater magnification, hence loss of clarity. If you want optical quality then you need optical lens magnification. The optical zoom on this camera gives great range and opportunity that I never had before. Tons of functions that I haven't even tried yet, even after 6 months of use.

This camera fits my big hands much better than the Nikon that I had tried to use for a week. On the Nikon I kept hitting buttons that I didn't want to use at the time, hence messing with my timing and shots. I almost never hit the wrong button on this Canon. To some the camera looks big and to some it looks small, but try it!! It can and may be a very good fit for you!

I have had many of my optically zoomed pix enlarged to 16x20, with zero perceptible distortion, and with excellent rendering of light, color, and detail.

Researched consumer reviews, this model was recommended, after buying this camera, I agree with the recommendations. Great camera, nice features, takes excellent, quality pictures. One missing feature--lens cap not attached to camera and is difficult to put on. The bundle I purchased was a nice value: included camera, 8GB card, camera bag, tripod and spare battery carrier. The site I purchased this from was great, they shipped the product promptly and arrived in good condition.

the camera is good. However, the accessory kit is not so good as it looked the website. The bag is tooooo small, while on the web it looked reaaally big.

This camera is awesome. I bought it to shoot wildlife and it works GREAT!!! The pictures are clear and the zoom is amazing!

I needed a better camera for eNews Park Forest. I tell my friends, I hire photographers, but I take pictures. Every journalist needs to know a bit about photography, and every journalist needs to take pictures from time to time. A photographer recommended the Canon Powershot SX10IS, and I've been very happy with it. [...] and if you find any recent photographs with the source, "Photo: ENEWSPF," those are my pictures taken with this Canon camera. And I think you'll be pleased with what you see.

I have used the camera just a couple of times but so far have been pleased.
Still reading and experimenting. Have one concern, the software downloads the
videos in a mov. type and it will not e-mail. I am trying to figure out how to
change this.
overall I like the camera allot.

Received this camera for my birthday ending January, used it for the first time in April.. After 2 weeks of use, I received a "LENS ERROR, PLS RESTART " ERROR.. BUT i JUST COULDNT RESTART!!! contacted CANON as it was only 3 months old, and was told to mail the camera in to be fixed, A week later the camera was shipped back to me, saying "BEYOND ECONOMICAL REPAIR' !!! as liquid was found in the camera..now that is highly impossible as at no time was I anywhere near water, beach..and if there was liquid in there, it would hav eshut down completely and lose all power...not say "LENS ERROR"!!!
CANON REFUSED TO RECOMPENSATE OR REPAIR, LEAVING ME WITH A 3 MONTH OLD,DEFECTIVE, $450 USELESS CAMERA!
i HAVE ALWAYS SHOPPED ON AMAZON, AND RECEIVE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE..HOWEVER AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE I WILL NEVER AGAIN PURCHASE EXPENSIVE ELECTRONICS HERE..
