This was a great deal. My last digital camera was when they first came on the market with 2 megapixles. My husband bought it for me as a birthday present. This year, my husband wanted me to have a new camera for my birthday. I read as many reviews as possible from different sources. I like to spend my money wisely! Of course there were both positive and negative. But, based on the description of the camera and the features, I felt it was what I wanted and decided to go for it. The bonus is with the purchase of the kit, I was able to get many other accessories. It is a beautiful camera and I highly recommend it. I believe it has just as many features as an SRL. I am anxious to learn to use all the different features that are available. Although I haven't tried all of the many functions, I have been able to take some great pictures! It is user freindly. I am so happy that I bought it. Also, the delivery was above my expectations. The seller was Ace Photo digital.

We recently purchased our Canon to replace the Nikon Coolpix that bit the dust. I was ready for something more advanced as I love to take pictures of my kids to share. This camera is amazing, no more delay when i'm snapping pictures of our toddler or during our older sons baseball games. The ONLY downside (why I gave 4 stars) is the life of the battery. The camera goes thru them like water.. We currently have Lithium batteries in it now and they seemed to be lasting a little longer. All in all this was a great purchase, wonderful price and fast shipping!!

The camera is quite small and easy to carry. It works well for both indoors and outdoors. The features are easy to use. It is convenient to adjust exposure +/- for both flash and no flash pictures.
The video feature works well. Again works well for both outdoors and indoors.
The negative I encountered is battery life. Even 2900 mAh batteries got depleted very soon. Maybe there is some kind of short that causes leakage of electric charge.
