Canon HR-101 High Resolution Paper for Bubble Jet Printers (1033A011, 100-Sheets)

I bought this paper thinking it was printable on two sides. This is true, but you can only print photos on one side. The other side is OK for text and colored graphics, but the photos look terrible. On the bright white side the photos come out looking great. I like using this paper for the cards I make on the computer. I will continue buying it for this purpose.

As good as glossy, but a lot cheaper! Been using for many years now :-)

I've used Canon's HR-101 High Resolution Paper for many projects that needed a professional look and it has always been first class. I first purchased it at Best Buy several years ago, but they don't carry it any more.

I had a hard time finding the HR-101, so I bought HP's Premiere Choice Paper (98 brightness) and it did not come close to the quality of the HR-101. After searching some more, I finally found it on Amazon.

I last used Canon's HR-101 for the front jewel case insert on some CD's that I produced and it looks great!

I'll use it many more times if I can still find it.....

I haven't found any other paper that comes even close to producing really good resolution in pictures on regular weight paper. I write to my nephew who is deployed, as well as another relative in the Peace Corps...I insert the pictures in a word document, so that the letters they receive always have a sprinkling of various pictures throughout.

Using my Canon Pixma MG8120 on high-quality setting with this paper makes the most stunning documents! The text is incredibly sharp, and images and photos look amazing with high detail. If you want your documents to really stand out, this paper will do the job.

Some people have said it's hard to tell which side of the paper to print on, but the two sides are slightly different colors. Once you figure it out, just mark the package or the plastic envelope holding the paper so you don't have to think about it next time.

I printed several pages, The prints had good detail, excellent contrast and color accuracy. However the think paper needed very careful handling to keep it from creasing or wrinkling.
