Everything you need for external flash capabilities
I'm a newly vested amateur photographer and was clueless what I would need to optimize the external flash capabilities of my Canon Rebel XT. This kit took the guesswork out of it all. I received it in time to photograph a very important wedding and am still learning all the benefits this flash has to offer.

Speedlite, charger, frame good, others not
The Canon 430 EX Speedlite is great. Fully functional at significantly less money than the 580. Batteries and charger great. Has charging indicators and all batteries go in the same way. Flash frame is sturdy. The cable to connect the camera to the flash on the frame is not recognized as by the camera so it can't preset the exposure. It won't even flash on manual. The...

The Canon 430 EX Speedlite is great. Fully functional at significantly less money than the 580. Batteries and charger great. Has charging indicators and all batteries go in the same way. Flash frame is sturdy. The cable to connect the camera to the flash on the frame is not recognized as by the camera so it can't preset the exposure. It won't even flash on manual. The reflector hood is piece of plastic that has to be folded ant attached to the flash with velcro. To cheap to be useful.

I ordered this product and was eagerly awaiting delivery. After weeks of not hearing anything I finally got an email saying that the order had been lost/not processed in their system for some reason. They asked me if I still wanted the product. I responded that I indeed did still want it. The next day I received an email stating that my order had been cancelled. I'm not sure why they cancelled because the item was in stock and still listed on Amazon but for a higher price. Was my order cancelled because they did not want to sell it at the lower price. I still have no explanation for the cancellation of my order. I will not buy from this company and do not recommend them to others.

Product was received as stated. We are just learning how to use the new flash but so far we are seeing less red eye which is why we decided to purchase the unit.
