Featuring a recycle time of 0.1 to 4.5 seconds, the Canon Speedlite 220EX Flash Unit is a fully automatic flash that excels at providing natural-looking, balanced flash exposures. It is compact, lightweight and compatible with all Canon EOS cameras. The 220EX incorporates the superior technology of Canon's unique E-TTL evaluative pre-stored flash exposure control system, FE Lock for a new dimension of creative control, and FP Flash (High Speed Sync) for flash photography up to maximum shutter speed. When in E-TTL mode, flash exposure is measured and controlled by the camera in combination with Canon's AIM system. Subject position, ambient light level, evaluative metering and pre-flash data are instantly analyzed, including heavy back-lighting or reflections from background windows or mirrors. Sporting a Save Energy feature, whereby the flash is shut down after 90 seconds of idle, the 220EX is powered by four AA batteries, and has a flash capacity between 250 and 1,700. The convenience and ease of use ensure the 220EX a place in the hands of photographers who want a high-quality flash.

This kit includes a total of 8 ultra high capacity 2900mAh Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries, and a lightweight charger that fully charges four batteries in 5 hours.

The cleaner your photo equipment is, the sharper your pictures will be. The Precision Design 6-Piece Deluxe Cleaning Kit includes what you need to keep your equipment sparkling clean: Hurricane Air Blower; Cleaning Brush; Microfiber Lens Cleaning Cloth; Lens Tissue; Lens Cleaning Liquid; and Cotton Swabs.

This flash is excellent! I was able to take a picture in a room with absolutely no light and with this flash, the picture came out as though someone turned on all lights and opened all windows at noon. Everything was clear and bright. Looking forward to more exciting photos!
