I just love this camera. I carry it with me everywhere I go and when there is something I need to take a picture in an instant it only takes seconds to set it up and snap away.I have never taken such beautiful pictures in my life.I love taking pictures of flowers just plain nature. When you use The Macro setting the details on flowers,bugs and tiny objects are so vivid.I really enjoy this camera!

Canon Power Shot SX 100 IS Digital Camera - Black with Kit

I needed a camera for food close ups and for traveling without having to carry too much bulk. I ordered the black Canon Power Shot SX 100 IS with kit from Cameta Camera; three days later it was delivered. The camera looks elegant and seems to have all what was promised in Cameta's ad. The camera has a zoom and a macro. I noticed that the same camera is offered in silver; I prefer black - it looks nicer and they say it does not create reflections ????

While reading a review I had noticed that someone had complained about the case's size; "too tight" they commented. I don't find... the case fits perfectly. There is also space for the card reader, the memory card and two batteries. I liked very much the battery charger that was included in the kit because it is adaptable for European outlets
Yes the small tripod does not fit in the case but...I find this a minor inconvenience.

Prior to ordering this camera I had compaired prices at Best Buy, Ritz Camera, Office Depot and Costco. Cameta's kit price with the camera was excellent; for the same amount Best Buy, Ritz, Office Depot had offered the camera only excluding sales tax. The average price I found was 299.95 and up. Cameta's price was less, had no sales tax and included shipment.

Camera's warranty? all of them offered one year manufact/warranty. Well, we will see; so far I am glad I decided to stay with Cameta's and Amazon's intermediate purchase service.

Great package at an amazing price. Included a 2G memory card which sold separately, are expensive. Also came with a smaller memory card in case I needed to store more images. Came with a case and all the cables. Very impressed. Will shop through Amazon again for sure!

This is the perfect camera for the novice. It has plenty of gadgets to play with yet I use the auto format most of the time. The picture quality is excellent as is the video. My only concern is the volume on the video. It is either defective on my camera or it is simply louzy (low volume and poor quality sound). That is the only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5.

Over-all I am very pleased and would definitely recommend this camera to anyone.

I am not a guru of electronics, I just wanted a camera that took great pictures no matter what. This camera is perfect for me. Point, Shoot. I just got back from a trip to Europe and took this camera with me, I can't believe how great the pictures turned out. This was so easy to use. I loved it. I even used it for some video captures as well, again, great output and easy to use. If you are like me and just want a great camera that doesn't need alot of tweaking, this is the one for you.

Great service! I received the camera right away and everything seems to be fine. All the things included in the package work well so far, and they are very convenient. This is a great camera and easy to handle. I have also used the Powershot s3 and compared to that, it is great to carry around for trips and stuff like that. I like that way you can view the photos with the round knob in the back. Great camera so far.
