This Canon Super Zoom Kit will help you get the shot you need on your photo safari. The kit includes a Canon digital gadget bag, a 75-300mm f4.0-5.6 III autofocus extra-long zoom lens, and a battery grip to keep you shooting.

About the lens
Compact and lightweight 4x telephoto zoom lens ideal for shooting sports, portraits, and wildlife. The improved zoom mechanism makes zooming smoother. The front part of the zoom ring now sports a silver ring for a luxury touch.

About the battery grip
The BG-E1 attaches firmly to the Digital Rebel body and provides extended power for extra shots. The grip also comes with a vertical shutter release button to make shooting that orientation as easy as horizontal shots. The grip is compatible with battery packs BP-511 and BP-512 (not included).

About the gadget bag
This 200DG large camera bag is large enough to hold up to two SLR bodies and up to three lenses. It features accessory side pockets and a weather-flap lid. It has been designed for both travel use and storage. It measures 10.5 x 7.5 x 7 inches (W x H x D).

This accessory kit is compatible with the Canon EOS 6.3MP Digital Rebel; it is not compatible with the Digital Rebel XT.

For what I could find the lens is a Canon 75-300mm f4-5.6 EF III equivalent to a 120-480mm 35 mm lens, worth about $187, the hand grip cost about $100, so the bag will end up costing about $13, worth only if you need a bag, if not, better buy the lens and the hand grip separately

Do not buy this kit if you plan on doing anything more than purely basic picture-taking. The included lens is slow to focus, very soft (doesn't take sharp pictures), and is completely plastic. If you do buy this lens you better carry it around in bubblewrap because it will break if you ever drop it. The battery grip can be purchased on eBay for less than $40 and the bag is almost completely worthless. Take my advice: do not buy this kit!

I am very happy with this Digital Rebel Zoom Kit. The battery grip makes my camera feel much more, dare I say, professional. I just wish my camera was black so it would look nicer. The 75-300mm lens is nice and I have taken some nice shots with it. It may not be the sharpest lens (especially when extended all the way out to 300mm), but for the price, I cannot complain.

The included bag is a very welcome addition to my collection. This bag is well padded, has velcro around the top where the lid closes which keeps everything nice and secure and is very comfortable on my shoulder. This new bag easily holds everything I have now. I would suggest adding a UV filter to your purchase just to protect the lens. I am very satisfied.
