Great Gift,

I bought this camera for my father. He loves gadgets and photography, but has been unable to use his SLR cameras since his stroke. The two huge buttons that control zoom are perfect for him. Very intuitive. Very convenient. Takes great pictures! He loves it. Why only 4 stars? APS film capability would make it 5 stars.

I needed an easy camera with a zoom that was still smallish. This camera is so very easy, it took about one night of playing around to figure out the different flash settings, but the zoom is so easy, nice big buttons, right where your fingers would go. Very easy, affordable camera with a zoom (vs. the Elph, which didn't have a zoom in the same price range, and this one is not much bigger).

Grandpa is glad he got this one..,

We live in Michigan. Our 1st grandchild was born in Alaska. For our trip to see her, a cheap $40 camera was out of the question. We needed something with a few bells and whistles both for baby and for the Alaska scenery. I bought this camera and was very pleased with how user friendly it is. And the consistent quality of the pictures was well worth the price. On our Alaska trip I went through 9 rolls of 24 exposure film, ending up with over 200 pictures. I was VERY pleased with the result. Thank you Canon...
