Canon's own web site says this will fit 20d's and other late model D-SLR cameras. It does not. I need yet another adapter to make this work.
I can't believe Canon will not make a simple cable release for these cameras.
This review places no blame on the vendor from which I purchased this from.

This adapter does NOT fit modern EOS Digital SLR cameras!

This adapter is only for cameras that use the T3 remote connection: It's compatible with T50, T70, T80 & T90 cameras as well as the EOS-1, EOS 5/A2E/A2, and the EOS 620/30/50/RT series when those cameras are fitted with optional grip GR-20.

The Canon website lists this item as compatable with the EOS 10D. Well it isn't. It took a call to Canon Tech support to confirm this
