3.0 out of 5 stars Problem After 2 Weeks!, December 17, 1999

This review is from: Canon Ultura Digital Camcorder (Electronics)
My new Canon Ultura's audio isn't working after owning it only 2 weeks! Monday I'll be driving 100 miles to the nearest authorized Canon repair place. I just hope they can repair it before I go on vacation.

Plus, the zoom is fairly useless past 64X.

Also, I wish it wouldn't automatically shut off after being on pause for only a few minutes.

5.0 out of 5 stars No problems, December 22, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Canon Ultura Digital Camcorder (Electronics)
We went into the store prepared to buy the sony TR 103 and ended up with this canon. It is alot smaller than the sony and the lens is supposed to be better. One thing about these camcorders is to get the smallest one you can afford because it is so easy to take with you. As far as options, it has just about everything you need. We just turn it on and shoot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great with Digital Computer, March 7, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Canon Ultura Digital Camcorder (Electronics)
I hooked up this camera to my iMac DV, connected it to the Firewire conneciton, turned on the computer and everything worked great the first time out. I was able to create, edit, and produce a Web film in less than a day.
