This book covers the Canon HF10, HF11, HF100, HG10, HG20, HG21, HV20, HV30 and HR10 and is very well written and is easy to understand. I only have the HG20, but at no time did I feel like I was getting a bunch of information that did not pertain to my camera. The author is very good at presenting all of the commonalities of each camera as a simplified whole, then telling you where they differ. Excellent writing and excellent insight into video. Helpful, full color illustrations make it easy to follow & put techniques to use.

I found this book to be the easiest way to learn my camera. The instruction manual that came with the camera gives insight into nothing. This book tackles features one at a time and delivers clear and concise explanations born from the authors own experience as a professional videographer. Canon should put this book in the box.

The information is written clearly in this book, and I was actually quite surprised by it's comprehensiveness on the functions of the cameras. I learned a lot about my camera in a short amount of time, and that's what I was looking for. I also enjoyed the fact that the author provided me with easier, and many times, more efficient ways to use camera functions than what's in the manual. This is a very helpful book.
