Compatible, not Canon Brand,

The description on Amazon says Canon imageCLASS X25 Black Toner Cartridge, however, the actual item was a compatible toner cartridge. Although the item worked, I think that the description is misleading because a similar compatible toner could be purchased at lower cost. Amazon should tighten up the item description requirements so that customers will not be mislead.

I tried a refill kit and it was a disaster. Got lots of striping and white space. Original Canon toner cartridge works perfect.

Canon Toner Cartridge X25,

This is the replacement for the cartridge in my Canon laser printer/scanner/copier/fax machine. I look at it as the replacement for my old ink-jet printer cartridges, which as a set, cost about the same as this one but only made a small number of copies while this one should be in the neighborhood of 2500! I'm very happy with the quality of the copies I'm getting. For the most part, the things I printed in color were just coincidental and didn't matter anyway.
