Canopy Protection Plans even protect your product from additional failures during the original manufacturer's warranty - such as drops, spills, and cracked screens. Those failures aren't covered by the manufacturer's warranty. If your product fails during the term of the original manufacturer's warranty for other reasons, you'll be directed to the original manufacturer for service. After the original manufacturer's warranty expires, Canopy covers virtually anything that can go wrong with your product. Limitations and exclusions apply. 3-Day Service Guarantee — Details

If we can't repair your product, we'll replace it with a new or refurbished product with similar features and functionality, or with an Gift Card for the original purchase price of the product (plus tax).

National Electronics Warranty LLC (NEW), your Canopy Protection Plan's administrator, will fix your product and ship it back to you within 3 business days of receiving it at the repair facility. You won't find faster or better service. Why? NEW has been the innovator in service for almost 3 decades.

For items requiring in-home service (typically some electronics and major appliances), NEW will have an authorized technician in your home within 3 business days of reporting your claim.

In the event National Electronics Warranty LLC (NEW) is unable to fulfill the 3-business-day service guarantee, NEW will refund the cost of your plan upon request. Service guarantee refunds will be issued to you directly by NEW and not by

After the manufacturer's warranty has expired, we commit to a 3-day service guarantee with the following details:

  • Customers must be available for an in-home appointment during the 3 business day period following the initial claim. If unavailable, we will schedule an appointment based on customer availability, but the 3-day guarantee will not apply

  • If parts are required but unavailable to complete a repair, the guarantee may not apply. Any way you look at it, your parts are worth waiting for

  • The guarantee does not include transit times or shipping times. Why? Because transit and shipping times are out of our hands

  • The guarantee only applies to service performed in the continental United States

My laptop got dropped by my one year old, I called Canopy, they emailed me a label and I shipped it off. I called to check on it a few days later and a manger returned my call saying it somehow got shipped to the wrong city to a company not affiliated with Canopy and they didn't know the person who signed for it. She explained it was lost, she was sorry, and they would reimburse me. 4 Days later, they sent me an Amazon ecard for the total price of my laptop. I kind of wish it was a check in the mail though, as I didn't buy my new laptop through Amazon, so I spent the credit on random things.

First, I have not used this plan yet. I have it for my computer monitor. I am talking about the 2 year accidental pc peripheral plan for items 250-300. However after bugging the people on the phone I have enough information to be confident that this product will do exactly what it say it does.

Second, The plan itself is an accidental plan which is for drops and spills. What this means is that if you punch your monitor, it won't be covered. But keep in mind that you can just say it fell into a doorknob while moving in the office and you're good to go. It does not cover stupidity or purposeful damage. So don't throw it out of a building or get it ran over by a car.

I will discuss my phone conversation and then cover pros and cons of the plan.

I called there hotline number which can be found on there website. I was expecting a machine and someone with a non-english accent (sorry if you are sensitive). To my surprise, a human picked up and spoke fluently and was ready to help. I said I purchased a plan for my monitor and they began to ask a few security questions. They asked for the order number on amazon, my name, address, phone number, and then confirmed my email. I asked them if they need my phone number for security reasons or if they are making a "profile" for me (its happened with other plans where they got information out of me without knowing what they would do with it). They guaranteed that it is for security reasons. They then asked for the monitor i bought by model number and the price i had paid before shipping and taxes (I am not sure if they will require a serial number). He said everything is good to go and if i ever have an issue they have all the information they need. So i could just say my name and address and they will know its me.

Since you are refunding the Dell In2030M 20-inc Screen LED-It Monitor I need you help to get my refund from Canopy Protection they have my payment take out on my debit card. Thank you very much for your help. I will never order anymore of any product of your company until I have a live person to talk to. I did not have problem with my desktop tower they arrvie as I expected. I ahve alot to order but I don't have your telephone number.
