Instrumental at its Best,

At first listen, one soon realizes that music without lyrics can be more profound than music that often tries too hard to draw in the listener with a catchy vocal hook. However, there are certainly a myriad of instrumental bands that too often lead the listener into a redundant run-around. Ganger's four piece line-up, (culled from glasgow) mixes a vibrant network of layered drum beats, often intertwining with dreamy chord progressions. The bass blends itself beautifully as it contributes to a rhythmic cadance. Due to the allure of this album, that distances its self from the conventional norm, i've been listening to it non-stop. The ambiance of the entire album draws close comparisons a la Tristeza. As Ganger continues to usher extrardinary music, one can only wonder when they will finally set their place upon the ranks as one of indie's most accomplished instrumental bands.

One can relax and not fear of any strained effort from the artist to force words in a song. The folley of a poor poet. This album takes you truthfully by sound. I'm not trained in explaining original music that lacks present comparison but suggest an honest listening to this album.
