I have been a some-what fan of Miley Cyrus for some time but never that impressed with her music except for a few exceptions, such as The Climb. However, since i first heard this song i can't get it out of my head. If this is what we can look forward to from Miley in the future i am 100% sure that she will have an amazing career moving into adulthood. Also, as a side note, the music video for this song is breathtaking, check it out :)

There is no question that Miley Cyrus has been trying to escape from her shadows from being Hannah Montana for the past couple of years. Nevertheless, it feels as if she is trying more to be what Britney Spears has tried to do a longtime ago. Trying to show a more provocative image at a young age. Her new single, Can't Be Tamed isn't really a strong song for her. While it is short, it definitely is still something that could've been better from Miley Cyrus. I felt that the song wasn't very definitive from her. There just should've been more from Miley at a young age. Hopefully, when her next album comes out awhile from now, it can be better what it has shown.

As a parent of two girls who really, REALLY enjoyed Hannah Montana... I am sad to say that this isn't the girl we all knew and enjoyed on the Disney Channel. Maybe that is the point. However, I'm not too cool with the lyrics of not only her song, but plenty of others out there who get airplay on the radio. I think she could "tone it down" a little and not be so risque.
