If you're too young to remember when that happened, listen to this song for a bit of history and some great music.

Absolutely loved it as I dedicate it especially to my son "Speedo" who after lending him my car and gps (recorded him at 112 mph) went for the land speed record on I-10. When I asked him about it his reply was "Gee I thought I was doing at least 120." He wasn't kidding as two tickets cost the lad $500, continues to cost me about $2k on his car insurance. Anyway here's to my son and Jersey Girl - hellfire on wheels. Going 55 is is first gear to her. Getting back to the song - easy listening, good music, great song. Comes across well in digital and plainly I continue to enjoy the hell out of it.

good classic 80s music. this song was well played in the night clubs around here, which means the managers liked it, or they would not allow it to be played in there club. I too, love this song. if you are into some good 80s this song is a good bet. audition it if you don't remember it, then you know before you buy, if it is to your taste. every one has there own taste in music if you like 80s classic rock, you will probably like this song.

This is just a fantastic fast rock and roll song with outstanding lyrics and great vocals. Sammy Hagar belts out a song that expressed the frustration of a generation of people suddenly confronted with a reduced speed limit on interstate highways. If you're too young to remember when that happened, listen to this song for a bit of history and some great music.

A classic 80's song about I can drive they way I feel like it "I Can't Drive 55!" But I can't drive 55? lol this song was in many movies in the early to late 80's including the 90's! To me its still a classic heck there even was a music video for this when MTV was MTV! Not anymore unfortunately!

Not much more to say . . . . . "so I made my best illegal move" . . . . LOL. Word of advice: Do *not* make a right on the red in LA off 405 fwy and Sunset even if you come to a full stop (near UCLA). No right is allowed. And how did we both miss the sign? Man, a ticket in LA is expensive!!!!

I really enjoy Sammy Hagar. particularly this tune. It's great driving music, particularly late at night, on a road in the middle of nowhere.
