I have loved the music from the Osmond family for decades--- this CD brings out the best in Jimmy, Merrill and Jay. While I enjoy all of the tracks-- the final one, "Remember Me" is a tear-jerker at the least-- but brothers Alan (retired for over a decade due to MS) and Wayne (recently retired due to his health, too)-- have cameos-- and even brother Donny joins in a little---it's so good to hear all of the brothers together again---touches my heart and brings tears to my eyes. I highly recommend this CD to all Osmond fans-- it's a must-have.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Osmond Album!!!! April 12, 2012
By Erica B
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I pre-ordered this album, thrilled to see new material from my favorite group. The album did not disappoint! I love it! The songs are great, the vocals wonderful. Lead vocals are mostly done by Jimmy but Merrill and Jay add their voices as well. Marie makes a guest appearance on "Breakable" and Alan, Wayne and Donny do the same on the moving "Remember Me". A must for every Osmond fan. In fact, a must for every music lover.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome CD! May 22, 2012
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I have been an Osmond fan for 40 years, and this is one of their best CD's in a long time. My favorite tracks are "Remember Me" because it has all 6 brothers singing on it, and "I Need You" is an excellent cover of America's song. If you are an Osmond fan, you will enjoy this CD.

4.0 out of 5 stars Osmonds - "Can't Get There Without You" June 1, 2012
By FELICIA
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
As a lifelong Osmond fan, I was looking forward to a new album with great expectation. I loved
"Remember Me" and "Break Your Fall." What disappointed me is that Jimmy Osmond did most of the lead singing. 90% or so of Osmond songs had Merrill singing lead, and that is what fans expect to hear when we listen to Osmond music, Merrill's beautiful voice. After waiting so long for new Brothers material, Merrill should have been featured more.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Osmonds - Can't Get There Without You September 3, 2012
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
It's always exciting when a favorite music group comes out with some new material, but with these guys it's especially exciting since I've been a fan for over 40 years. But I have mixed feelings about this album. Don't get me wrong, the music is wonderful. But while there is reason for jubilation, there is some disappointment as well.

The songs are a little different than many might be used to from the Osmonds, but I really like that because it shows that they are a very diverse group when it comes to the music world. What disappoints me is that it's not a true Osmond "Brothers" album in that not all the Osmonds are involved in every song. Brother's Alan, Wayne, and Donny only make a quick, one line appearance in one song. Granted, the song, "Remember Me" is the best of the album. It is a hauntingly (I don't use that term lightly) beautiful song that highlights the rich harmony that the Osmonds are famous for. When I first heard it, it was like...if you have ever seen the Disney movie Ratatouille and the scene where Anton Ego takes the first bite of food that Remy cooks for him. That one taste takes him all the way back to his childhood where he comes home all wet, stiff lipped, but then his mother serves him a bowl of his favorite meal to put a smile on his face. It was that way for me. The song conjures up visions of my parents, my family, and my growing up years. Years I can't have back, or relive but can remember fondly. Yeah, it was that powerful.

Unlike past Osmond albums where Merrill is the lead, brother Jimmy takes lead vocals on most of the songs. Merrill and Jay are the backups though it's hard to pick them out in some of the songs. Even sister Marie gives a special treat appearance on one of the songs. So now it brings me to wonder...

This was a pleasant surprise. "Take Me Home" was a sultry suprise. I love this CD! Every song on it is great. My favorites - Break Your Fall, Fall To Fly, Will You Go With Me - ok, I actually really like all of the songs! It makes me remember what I've always loved about Osmonds - the harmony, the incredible sound they make when their voices merge together. It makes me want more!!
