I really enjoyed this CD. Julie's clear, airy, vocals bring a contemporary sound to the uptempos, and add a beautiful "haunting" quality to the ballads.
"Just like Job" really spoke to my heart. "Today I discovered a new scar.. I know I don't appear to be so breakable, frail, or weak ... But between you and me, I'm undone" - What I love about her lyrics is their honesty. What I love about her melodies is their ability to transport me. This album does it's job in making the listener contemplative while listening. This is a great collection of songs. |
