I purchased this because I liked a quote from it that was featured in Marshall McLuhan's "Understanding Media."Apparently, that excerpt is the most well-written part of the entire thing. The book is filled with every cliche one can imagine -- far beyond the ones necessary to be considered in the noir genre. It borders on stupid. |
