5.0 out of 5 stars !!! LITTLE TA LOSE, SO MUCH TO WIN !!!, July 1, 2005
This review is from: You Can't Keep a Good Band Down (Audio CD)
THE BEST ALBUM TO SING ALONG TO IVE EVER HEARD. EVERY SONG THESE GUYS WRITE IS SIMPLY AMAZING! I FIRST HEARD THESE GUYS LIVE WHEN THEY OPENED UP FOR PROPAGANDHI, HERE IN WINNIPEG (PROPAGANDHI'S HOME TOWN!) THEY WERE SO ENERGETIC, AND BLASTED AWAY AT EVERY SONG FOR A MERE 45 MIN. I WAS SO TAKEN BACK BY THEIR SHOW THAT I HAD TO OWN THEIR CD. THIS WAS THE CD THEY WERE SELLING AT THE SHOW, SO I BOUGHT IT. THEIS ALBUM DOES AN AMAZING JOB AT CAPTURING THEIR LIVE ESSENCE, WHILE STILL GIVING IT THAT POLISHED FEELING. THE BEST SONGS TO SING ALONG / ROCK OUT TO ARE : ME AND THE BOYS, LITTLE TOULOUSE, YOU ARE WHAT YOU FIGHT FOR, AND WORKING CLASS RADIO. EVERY SONG IS EXCELLENTLY WRITTEN, AND VERY INFECTIOUS. THERE ARE NO SKIPPERS ON THIS ALBUM, ON REPEATERS! SO GIVE THE CD A SPIN AND REMEMBER, YOU HAVE SO LITTLE TOULOUSE, BUT SO MUCH TO WIN!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD, April 7, 2003

This CD is really, really awesome. It goes from soft, melodic punk melodies to some of the fastest most hard hitting music you've ever seen. The lyrics are always insightful and controversial. It's hard to think of anything not to like in this album. If you like the genre, or even if you don't, get this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Amazing..., February 12, 2003
This review is from: You Can't Keep a Good Band Down (Audio CD)
Randy makes good punk rock. The songwriting (musically) is above par for a punk rock band. The lyrics and performance are simply amazing. Everyone I know who has heard this album has fallen in love with it.

If you're looking for a good sing-along, rock-out, must-be-played-loudly album - this is it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Randy at their best., March 9, 2003

Ok, Randy is a [bad] band name, no band should ever be allowed to call themself Randy. But never mind that, this is why you should get this album.

"You can't keep a good band down" is a great cd, the melodies are simply the best in modern punkrock, some reviewer called them the best since Bad Religions "No Control" and I am willing to agree with that.

The lyrics are very political, and I recognise the message. Randy comes (just like me) from a town in the nortern Sweden and their lyrics are really all about the socialism that is so common in these parts, and I don't mind since I am also a follower of those ideas. Randy's english skills are not always the best, but it can be overlooked.

This cd is a master piece, happy political punk rock without that [bad] attitude.

Go randy, go sweden, go burning heart!
