This review is from: I Can't Stay Long (Hardcover)
This is a book of essays by Laurie Lee. Having read his autobiographical novels, I wanted more. I was not disappointed. I found these essays very thought provoking and entertaining, in particular Part Three which consists of his accounts of countries and cities he has visited. His use of the English language is just beautiful. I really enjoyed this book.

Awful,
By A Customer
This review is from: I Can't Stay Long (Paperback)
The tired thoughts of a tired old man. Anyone other than Laurie would never have had this book published. Cliche ridden & fatuous.
