I was so frustrated to have the publishing date pushed back once, twice, now we're up to about the 3rd time - but here's the thing, even without a book in hand, I will stake $24.99 that this book will be just as good as the rest of the books that she's written. For those who don't know, Judith's mom was really sick and she took time off to take care of her. My sincerest condolences go out to her as I've heard that her mom has since passed away. I think everyone frothing at the mouth over all the delays needs to take a step back and ponder: what's more important, spending the last moments you have with a loved one caring to their needs - or meeting a deadline so folks like us can curl up with a great book before bedtime.... hummmm.... I think that if you have to pause to actually answer that then you need to get yourself back to church/temple/or whatever other place of worship tickles your fancy. PEOPLE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN BOOKS! I'd be thoroughly disappointed in Ms. McNaught if she chose to ignore her mom instead. I'll wait - I don't mind - and I promise you that as soon as we can preorder, my credit card digits will be flying across the wires...

I am so grateful that the one review shared the reason for the delay with this book. I have beem waiting and I will continue to wait. My heart goes out to Ms. McNaught for the loss of her Mother. Just want to say I will wait to see the novel on the shelf.

Love McNaught's writing. Will happily awai her book for the end of 2011. Always good reading; and always want more.

I am a huge fan of Judith McNaught and over the years have managed to get all of her books. I couldn't understand why no more were forthcoming until I just read some of the other reviews on the page, and discovered that Ms McNaught had sadly lost her Mother.I am so sorry for her loss, and I for one will wait for however long it takes until her next book becomes available. She is without doubt my favourite author and I know it will be worth the wait!

JM is one of my all time favorite authors. The new book I'm sure is worth the wait!! I Love her books so much they are a favorite re-read. Is there any chance at getting all of her titles on Kindle version, so I can keep the library handy??

I checked Judith's wiki page today and it states that her book release has been changed yet again to January 2013. Has anyone seen an earlier release date. Her personal website has not been updated since 2006. I"m wondering if she retired from writing.

I'm sorry to hear about her loss. I have waited this long, so I can wait a little longer. I know it will be as great as her other books. I understand that this new book will be an extension of the Westmorelands, my favorite family. I can't wait. If it's at the end of the year, it'll be a great Christmas gift to myself.

My mother is 90 years old and Judith McNaught is her favorite author. I have been trying to find this book in any format [hardcover or paperback} as my mother has been anxiously waiting for this book to be published. My condolences to Ms. McNaught on the death of her mother. I hope Ms. McNaught will soon be able to re-publish "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" soon so I can surprise my mother. She is in poor health and gets a great deal of pleasure from reading.

I have loved all of Judith McNaught's books. I have waited years and hope my wait will be over soon. I am sorry for the loss of her mom. Her mother was more important than a book. Hope she is finding peace. I lost my sister three years ago today. You never quit missing, but God can provide peace.
