This is some of the best music, instrumentally and lyrically, that I have heard in a long time. For this style of music it ranks up there with Jackson Browne. People should start searching for non-comercialized music more often if this is what they'll find. Great CD. If you also like Kenny Loggins check out his new CD coming out called 'It's about Time', Doug has one of his songs on there called 'Brothers', one of the better tracks Kenny's album, and it's still not Doug's best song he's written. Buy this CD and tell everyone about it.

My friend turned me on to this CD, and I owe him one! Doug and his arrangments, and the musicians on this album bypass the "BS" in one's mind, and goes straight to the "HEART!" "I'll BE THERE FOR YOU" will be there for you when you wake-up in the morning, playing in you brain! That's a "GREAT THING!" Thank you for you art! We need it!

I love this CD--it rocks! Doug Ingoldsby is like Jackson Browne with a happy relationship. There is also a little Don Henley in him, too. A powerful debut CD. Now I can't wait for his next one!

This is the "REAL DEAL!" Doug has a the ability to express many different moods and ideas, all within the setting of wonderfully produced and performed music. The list of guest artists,from Kenney Loggins,Jim Messina,and Graham Nash,to the great guitar work of CPR's Jeff Pevar, make this true 'EAR CANDY!" A must have!

I really loved this album as it has none of the trappings of it's genre (California pop-rock-commentary-ballad) but comes across as fresh and heart-felt. This album hosts an amazing guest list and all contribute solidly but it is Doug's personality that makes this worthwile. A rare insight into someone who hasn't given up. Uncommonly honest. Check it out, you won't be dissapointed.
