Soft, sensual and absolutely fabulous! Rosa Passos is without any doubt one of the greatest brazilian singers ever! Her voice is simply miraculous! I discovered her by chance about two years ago, and the more I get to know her work the more I like her! She has great style and really, a fantastic voice!

This CD is filled with most of the great classic Bossa Nova songs, like Corcovado, Garota de Ipanema, Insensatez, Desafinado, Chega de saudade, and many, many more, all of them sung with amazing sensibility and beauty!

This is a must for those who love classic Bossa Nova! It's so easy to love Rosa Passos!!!

This CD this is the best Bossa Nova CD ever. She took classics and put her own sound to it. I played it once in my office and over 30 clients and employees wanted it on the spot. I travel to Brazil quite often and never heard anything that is quite comparable. It makes me sad and happy at the same time. If you want to fall in love or make someone fall in love with you, buy the CD.

It's a shame that so much talent (Rosa Passos is an amazing singer and I like her very much) and so many great musicians I admire like: Joao Donato, Cristovao Bastos, Lula Galvao, Carlos Malta, Ze Nogueira, Wilson Das neves, Marco Brito, and many more; could not come up with such a great project with something ground-breaking, something that could blow you away; this is a "just good" homage to Maestro Tom Jobim, but nothing more, very bland arrangements; something hundreds of people have done in the past; so in order to receive 4 or 5 stars in a project like this, they should have WAY MORE to show, they should be outstanding.
Hopefully Almir Chediak can put more attention to details like that; producers and arrangers are like coaches; they could have a great team, but if they don't guide them right, their performance is nothing more than just regular.

P.S. I don't know why people who do some of these tribute albums to Tom Jobim, never include some other great compositions of him like : "O Nosso Amor" or "Eu Preciso De Voce"; they all play the same all songs over and over with nothing outstanding.
