This is a gorgeous hardbound book containing English and Latin Roman Catholic hymns, replete with explications of each hymn. This is not really a "hymnal" per se, but rather a devotional collection of some of the most beautiful Catholic hymns ever written, with background material on each selection and reproductions of classic religious art. The binding is delectable and will appeal to any lover of great books -- it is clothbound, sewn and stamped, complete with headbands. This is destined to become a classic.
