Nice choice for fans of Latin torch songs, July 27, 2009

I bought this in La Paz after asking a shop owner if she had anything like Chabuca Granda. She played this for me and I was quite taken with the funky retro organ music accompanying Ramona's sweet voice. It's a lot of fun if you like traditional Latin music spiked with a fairly heavy dose of melodrama... which I do.
