Este disco, junto a Las Décimas es lo mejor de la Violeta para los amantes del canto campesino auténtico. Especialmente Cantos por Ponderación, Viva la luz de Don Creador y Viva Dios, viva la Vírgen, los que más allá de su contenido religioso tienen por si mismos el valor de usar palabras y modos de tañir la guitarra que se escuchan aún hoy en los campos chilenos.
Una delicia llena de humor, amor, devoción y penar criollo. Tiqui-tiqui-tiiiiii!

Violeta traveled throughout the Chilean country side and collected songs composed and sung by campesinos in remote areas of Chile. This is a treasure trove of the Chilean campesino culture as it existed pre-cell phone and pre-television.
