I've been using the Canus Goat's Milk Bar Soap, 3-Count Boxes (Pack of 4) after receiving a gift pack years ago. When I found they had this product for kids, I had to try it.

The scent is just as clean, fresh and soapy smelling. It is strong and stays with you all day, but not overpowering. This is important to me as I am sensitive to strong scents and this is just right for both kids and adults.

It really is tearless when used as a shampoo and lathers well, so a little goes a long way. Additionally, I had been using the top tearless shampoo for kids and I find this is a better deal when bought in bulk on Amazon. It moisturizes well too, I've found I don't have to use as much lotion to keep my child's skin from drying out in the cold New England winter.

I'm not sure why people it smells like Grandma, as I'm far from a grandma and love the scent. I've actually received compliments from people who were surprised when I told them it was my soap.

My toddler daughter started developing these tiny little bumps on the back of her upper arms, a condition that both myself, my brother, and my mother have as well. I asked the pediatrician about it and she diagnosed it as keratosis pilaris, which is caused by dry skin. I was told that there was no way to reverse it, though cocoa/shea butter helps it and that retin a treatments may help (though she did not recommend that for children).

I proceeded to experiment with different children's body washes and lotions that contain cocoa butter or shea butter (or some combination) only to see that I was losing the battle as the bumps were spreading down her arms and on her thighs. Finally, after consulting with the online keratosis pilaris support group, I learned that milk baths might help b/c the milk proteins affect the keratin levels in the skin which causes the bumps in the first place.

Well, after experimenting again with different milk baths and lotions, I finally hit on a the perfect formula. Canus Li'l Goat's Milk Body Wash in the bath at night, followed by vaseline (either in the original or thick cream formula) on the affected areas before putting on PJs. The keratosis is still there, but it's diminished rapidly and significantly. Plus, I've grown to LOVE the smell of the body wash. Some ppl complain that Canus products smell like old lady soap, but I LOVE the perfumed smell -- to me, it smells like CLEAN. I highly recommend this product!

Like many things, I saw Li'l Goat's Milk Shampoo/Body Wash at the Friday Sale, and bought it on a whim. I am so glad I did!

A bit of background: my twenty-four month-old son has eczema, one patch behind his knee. The doctor prescribed a steroid cream for him, which I am somewhat reluctant to use because of the permanent effects that it can have on the skin. I was looking for some new bath products for him to use that would not aggravate the condition, and read that goat's milk may be worth trying. I was not expecting his eczema patch to clear, but it did! It has come back once since we started using this product, but is currently clear. I plan to get more goat's milk products to replace whatever I can.

The soap smells great, although it is a bit strong straight out of the bottle. Once in the water, the smell is perfect. I don't know if the claim of tearless is true; my son cried when it got in his eyes once, but our water burns my eyes with no soap. Overall, this is a good product. I asked my son if he likes it, and he said, "I do!" That's good enough for me.

I have used every baby wash/soap on the market. My son has very dry skin, and cannot stand anything on his face or eyes-especially stinging shampoo. I ordered the body wash/shampoo, and could not believe how big the bottle was. You don't need alot-it really suds up. I was able to wash my son's hair and body with no screaming at all. He has Autism which makes his face so sensitive to everything. And the smell is so clean...I couldn't resist taking a shower and using it to wash my hair and body. The scent isn't overwhelming-but it lasts. I just washed my face, and it took off all of my makeup..even mascara. Thanks for making a great product!!

I got this wash for our little one. Doesn't dry out his skin, smells great (natural) and gets him clean!
Also, I compared the per ounce price of other products in the store and this was the best deal I could find (for all natural baby soap.)

This product has chemical ingredients that are harmful & dangerous for children but is marketed like a natural product. Read ingredients prior to purchasing.

I love this product! It is gentle enough for my baby and my sensitive skin. I use it for body wash and shampoo as well as bubble bath. My child smells so clean and fresh and so does the bathroom. This product is so great that I order it to be auto shipped.

This is a very wonderful shampoo and skin cleanser for anyone with allergies. If you are allergic to shampoos and soap this product has more than satisfied me. I am 62 years old and I love this product.

I am a big fan of goat's milk products, particularly for the skin, but after checking out the ingredients on this so-called "natural" product, I am horrified that it is being sold as a baby product. Please, research these ingredients before putting them on your child's skin, and don't buy this product until this company cleans up it's act (no pun intended)!. They should know better. Shame on you, Canus!
