I purchased two of these loft beds in pine. They are sturdy and finished well so they don't splinter. My kids are 5 and 2 and both use them without issue. My two year old even wants to take naps now! The beds are the perfect size and I am not worried about the safety at all as they are solid wood and the railing comes up high enough that even a teenager wouldn't roll out. (We hung dowel rods and made curtains to make the under bed area storage and a "fort" my kids love it and their "ladder" beds.

Product was shipped without all necessary dowels and screws. I never managed to get off the queue on the phone line for customer service so instead I followed their directions to the request form on the website. I still have not received the parts or even received acknowledgement that they received my request. This is taking far too long to put together a bed that my child is now desperate for.
