A "Must Have" Book for Venturing into The Maze,

This is a book written in the manner of a Fran Barnes Book and is an excellent guide into the vast wilderness of the Maze Section of Canyonlands National Park. I used this book to go to Cleopatra's Chair and The Panoramic Overlook, the latter site is over 56 miles from the paved road. It is accurate and well written. (Check local sources for current road conditions before driving into the Maze, or for that matter, any off road location sparsely traveled.) On the day of our adventure we saw not one other person save for the Ranger at the Hans Flat Station for sign in and sign out (so they know where to look for you if you don't sign out). This out of print publication is well worth any price you pay.
