THE CANYON is the story of Little Bear, a Cheyenne. The canyon is his refuge from the world in which he wants no part. But Little Bear learns that canyon walls are not a barrier, and that for better or worse, man must be with others of his own kind.

OLD RAMON is an old shepherd wise in the basics of human life. Ramon has been put in charge of his patron's small boy for a season with the sheep. As his father and grandfather before him, the boy watches and learns about fear, death and responsibility as well as sheep.
