Tony Lucca is an amazing talent, each song exudes a soulful purity not found in music these days. You can't place him into any category, he is in a category all his own!!! The album is a joy to listen too! Wonderfully crafted songs, beautifully done!!!

The newest release from Tony Lucca is sure to spark some emotions like never before. If you've been aware of the Lucca progression since his first release in 1997, you know that he's experimented with words and sound over time. Canyon Songs was created while Tony was traveling on tour and seeing the world differently than before. With his maturity, he's learned to appreciate landscapes and architecture and truly understand different people from different places. Canyon Songs is influenced by all he's seen on the road and is by far the best of the Lucca series. With upbeat tunes such as Death of Me and Sarah Jane and the mellow side including Around the Bend and Feels Like Love, he has truly stretched his wings on this album. Don't hesitate to get this!

I know of Tony Lucca from the Mickey Mouse Club. And I had heard his first album, Shotgun, but was not all that impressed. But I saw a clip of him singing "Death Of Me" recently and decided to give him another listen. I come from a R&B background, and except for "Death Of Me", I really wasn't expecting much. But I was surprised at how good this album is! It is in my top 10 rotation of CD's now. I've even gotten some of my friends hooked on it.
This is a well written, well produced CD. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for something different.

I will be buying this CD for my friends and telling everyone about it. What a talent! Highly recommended.
