The description of the product does not specify but searched the company spec and found that this one weighs 11 lb.

The thing i like about this bar is the turning screws have a rubber ring which grips the weight plates. The bad part is that it had come off for one of the screws and i had a hard time putting it back.

Overall a very solid product, as sturdy as steel gets. Would definitely recommend.

If you want to isolate your biceps, forearms and triceps without placing undue stress on your wrists, shoulders and elbows, an EZ-Curl bar is certainly better than a full-length straight bar. I've been using weights for a very long time, and over the years my joints have undergone a lot of stress and strain. This bar fits the bill quite nicely, as it takes much of the stress away from those aforementioned body parts. At just a little over 11 Lbs, it's far lighter than my standard straight bars, but also sturdy enough so that you can place a significant amount of weight on the bar to provide for a heavy load (if you're so inclined). All-in-all, this bar (along with those threaded collars and rubber guards) is a wonderful buy. If you're new at the weight-lifting game, simply Google: "EZ-Curl Bar Exercises" and you'll be amazed at the variety of exercises that can be accomplished with the use of this type of equipment...

Bought this about a year ago and I use it 4-5 times a week and my wife also uses it. Like the other reviewer said the rubber inside the locking stars is awesome. Really cuts out the strain on your wrists. Great for isolating the biceps and forearms. This is a great curl bar. Not much else to say other than I still use and I cant think of any reason why I would need to replace it. I don't see it braking. It's solid.

I purchased this to replace my old curl bar that went to school with my son. I like the fact that this is a solid bar with a 1" diameter, my old curl bar was made from tube about 1 1/8" in diameter. I have several steel weights I had made for me with a 1 1/8" diameter hole to fit on the bar I have on my bench. They do not fit on my old curl bar but they do on this bar. The threaded ends and screw on retainers are great. It would be nice if the grip areas on the bar were sloped more so the bar would feel more neutral when you pick it up; my old bar has more slope and does not feel like it wants to flip over in your hands. Its a pretty nice bar for the money.

I purchased the 6' straight bar counterpart a few months ago and loved the upgrade it gave me from the previous straight bar I used. Recently the 2 piece Gold's Gym E-Z bar I purchased about 4 months ago at most, broke on me. It snapped due to a poor welding to the connector in the middle of the bar. I had about 45 lbs on each side of the bar at the time, don't know what the max weight was supposed to be on the bar, but one would hope higher than 90 lbs. Anyways just got the new CAP E-Z bar today, and just as the solid 6' I got it is of a higher quality than the price would suggest. I threw 90 lbs on and showed no sign of being under any strain. By elimating the welds I am confident in this bar and what it is capable of holding, it should last me awhile at least. Bonus the collars have rubber bumpers that allow you to get a little more tension on the weights therefor they seem to require tightening less frequently than without. I would recommend any of the CAP barbells especially at the price to quality ratio.

shipping was fast and The bar is great the locks are solid but the one down fall on this bar was the rubber it was loose but all you got to do is add a little super glue to the rubber and let it dry and the rubber will no longer move. so all in all this bar is great and i would recommend it.

This was very nice, I mean, it's just a bar...
But, it also has good comfortable grip, and the threaded ends are easy to use.
They also have rubber washers to secure weights.
All around good deal!

This was an extremely useful bar for me, my muscles are thanking me.
It's great so far, really strong and durable.

Ordered this item twice, still waiting on ship date. Would like to know what was the problem with shipment.
