I was annoyed after purchasing my new Pentax K-R camera and the rechargeable battery died after one day of shooting. I found this set with two extra rechargeable batteries and the travel charger and am glad I did! I now switch out my batteries after a day of shooting and am relieved to know I will always have two spares. The battery charger works well in the car. The batteries seem to charge in no time at all. What else is great about the charger is its versatility. You can use it in the car or in a wall outlet. It even comes with a European outlet prong! I wish I would have bought this at the same time as my camera! I am a photography student who takes A LOT of pictures.

The extra battery supply allow you to continue using your camera for a longer period of time. You do not have to lose that ability to capture shots due to lack of battery supply. The double supply of batteries are great to have.

This is a really on the run device. It is horrible if you need to take more photos and your batteries are ran out. With this charger I don't have anymore to worry about it.
