This battery lasts hours and hours and after a year of use there has been no decrease in the charge it can hold.

Subject title says it all. After charging the battery for the first time, I fired up the camcorder, and it registered 392 available battery minutes (with the LCD display on).My existing Sony brand battery which is several years old still holds around 450 minutes per charge (with LCD), so this battery doesn't quite reach that level, but it's close enough for government work. Given the wide price disparity between this after market item and its Sony brand equivalent, it's a reasonable sacrifice to keep more than a few dollars in your pocket. I'd definitely recommend this product. Good price, good quality, good value.

Charged once with the same charger I use for the standard Sony battery that still charges fine. On battery power indicator doesn't work or show power level and when I attach the battery to my Sony HDR HC1 it powers up and then the Camcorder LCD says "Use InfoLithium Battery" and then shuts down. Nothing wrong the camcorder - it still works fine with the original Sony battery.

Long lasting battery, have used it to upload video to computer and was surprised at the amount of time it carried the load. Would definitely buy another.

The batteries I bought flat out, DO NOT WORK. They even cause my Sony charger to malfunction. Luckily I have some genuine Sony batteries that do work. I have purchased non-Sony batteries that did work but these were absolutely terrible. I now have to return them and find another source.

No-name, Li-ion, verified as an NP-FM55H replacement on a Sony Alpha camera,

I am using this as a backup battery for my Sony Alpha camera and I've had no problems so far. The camera accepts the battery - not always the case when you try to use 'third party' and battery life seems to be equivalent to the that of the original NP-FM55H that came with the camera. The good things going for this batter are: - price, obviously - similar specs/battery life as NP-FM55H - exact NP-FM55H shape - charges well with Sony's supplied charger Specs: - Li-ion - 7.2V - 1450mAh To me, this is the perfect backup battery. I'm still using the original with my Alpha but there are times when the original runs out of juice and that's when I'm using this backup and haven't had any reason to complain yet. |
