5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible
This game has renewed my interest in fighting games. The online experience is incredible. I've played people from Japan and France with no noticable lag. Maybe 10% of games have the occasional 1 or 2 sec hiccup, but other than that it plays like they are sitting in the room next to you. The only fault I can find is the sprites are low resolution, but I have so much fun...

2.0 out of 5 stars NOT BACKWARD COMPATIBLE FOR 360
I bought this game thinking it was backward compatible with the 360 but it wasn't mainly my fault for not checking on XBOX's Website, so i have the game but haven't been able to play it. I gave it 5 stars cause i know it's a fun game, but 2 stars because a great game like this should be backward compatible.

4.0 out of 5 stars Online Fighting Game, May 27, 2003

Finally, a game I love goes Live. Seeing Street Fighter Characters vs. King of Fighting Characters online. Problem is why should a mode called EO(Easy Operation)was even put in this game... And the EX grooves are made for people who can connect moves, but in any other groove would be complicated to pull off. All in all, it is still a good game.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's the first XBOX Live fighting game!!!!!!, March 17, 2003
This review is from: Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO (Video Game)
Even if CvS2:EO wasn't the only fighting game available for Xbox Live, it would still be one of the best. Some lag issues and controller prefrences are the only strikesagainst it. CvS has not changed much since it's debut 2 yrs ago in the arcades, and it's subsequent journeys to various home consoles. The recent GC version added the "EO" mode to make things easier for newcomers; now the XBOX gets all that PLUS online network support. CvS still
plays well, although your milage will vary depending on which XBOX controller you have. The "S" has a better directional pad, but the button layout of the "big" controlleris far superior. third-party joysticks like the X-Arcade work perfectly. While upgraded graphics and sound would have been great, what's there gets the job done. Characters retain a pixelized look that is really starting to show it's age, but the audio portion is still sweet. The good news about XBOX Live support is that it actually works. The bad news is that even with broadband only support, there is a fair amount of lag. Despite some annoyances, EO is a no-brainer for XBOX Live fighting fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE THIS GAME FOR ONLINE! BUT CHARACTERS ARE...., July 11, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO (Video Game)
im a big fan of street fighter and fatal fury for the sega gen, and this game is a ... load more upgraded than those versions, i think is awsome mainly becasue of xbox live. the characters tho dissapoint me. i like almost all the chars but they didnt add in a few of the really good characters they had in the other games. they dont have andy which makes no sense since hes a big character in the game. they dont have guy either. chars not in this that are in street fighter alph 3: cory, fei long, birdie, R mika, guy, DJ,Karin, juli and juni, sodom, adon, t hawk, gen, and rose. those are some of the chars for capcom not in the game. some snk chars not in the game are: andy, moe, robert, clark and ralf, leona, kensou, bao, richard, micheal, duck king, tung fu, BILLY, Axel, Lawrence blood, big bear, jubie, cheng.
alot of these are good characters but not included in the game.
im not telling u not to buy it, they have the main chars and the best bhars in the game, its fun and challenging online.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome game, July 14, 2010
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO (Video Game)
This must be one of the best 2d fighter games I have ever played, it has the ability to change the technical aspects of one's characters which is unheard of in most fighting games (Even new gen) there is also a huge roster.

5.0 out of 5 stars From a old neogeo gamer on snk and capcon., October 31, 2005
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO (Video Game)
Ok here's my rant. One I've not played this game (but I'm going buy it shortly). Two the original King of Fighters was original based on characters from Fatal fury (Guess no one remembers that one). They made so many after the first one. I lost count (witch was base on 3 vs. 3 characters, not like one on one you have today in the KOF games). Second. SNK had allot great fighting games besides King of Fighters. World Heroes 1 & 2, Fatal fury 1& 2. Samurai Showdown 1 & 2. Now I'm happy to see Samurai Showdown being coming back that was a cool fighting game and the first one was cool. So I'm going buy the part V (where did 3&4 go? anyone know). When it comes out this month. But what makes me sad is snk (neogeo) is own by capcon who wont release games like Worlds Heroes or Ghost Ryder airplane shooter based on ww2. These would be great for xbox and alot of fun. Guess I'm writing cause never like KOF. But must say Street fighter 2 was the best came game that ever came out of capcon. I wish SNK would come out with some old classics like Capcon just did. And if anyone from Capcon reads this you need to come out with a version of Dark Stalkers 1 or 2 for Xbox your Capcon Fighting Evolutions doesn't cut it. Dark Stalkers Rocked we need whole version that would be one of the best. Hope like my rant and some out there knows what I'm talking about. Hopefully someone from SNK or Capcon will read this.

This is an very addictive arcade style fighting game. The graphics keep true to normal games of this type. Making new characters through their costumes and name changing is a great idea and fun to show off on X-box live. Overall this is such a good game that I can't wait until another one or anygame like this comes out next. Capcom and SNK both rock!
