The images in this book are made from only half of any stereoview. Obviously, this totally eliminates any enjoyment from the original 3-D presentation.

I returned mine to Amazon and they graciously gave me a refund.

Only 7 stereo pairs of the approximately 200 photos in the 128-page book. I do not feel the authors, editor, or publisher were knowledgeable on viewing of stereo photographs (3D) since over 95% of the images are not presented as stereo and yet they titled the book "In Stereo Views". I was expecting to see wonderful stereo pairs (3D) but was disappointed to see only half of each stereo pair (2D). I had expectations of free viewing some great stereo images but felt mislead since there were so few. They did have many interesting halves of pairs (flat), but that is not stereo. On the bright side I think this is a great idea, publishing a book on a subject and in stereo (if it actually was in stereo). Perhaps the second edition will really be in stereo.
