Bought it for Zumba ~ Really like this shoe but it runs about a 1/2 size too small.
I hear that's normal for Capezio

I bought these shoes for my line dancing and Zumba classes. Three class members tried them on and loved them too. Amazon got three more customers as a result. I bought a half a size larger; that seemed to work. One of my friends bought a whole size larger; that worked for her too.

Love, love, love these shoes! With thin socks, the size is true for me. I use them when exercising at home, and looknforward to trying them for line dance lessons at the local country bar. I am very tempted to purchase a pair in white just to wear as regular daily tennis shoes, that's how comfortable they are.

I had capezio's back in the 80's when I spent many a night at Studio 54 and other disco's in Manhattan. After reading the reviews I was sure I wanted them. Loved them then and Love them now. I absolutely recommend 1/2 size larger. What a difference dancing is in my Capezio's. I Zumba 8 hours a week and sometimes twice a day. I feel like a real dancer! Get them - you will not be sorry!!!

I got these shoes for Zumba class. They are so light weight. I didn't have any problem getting used to them. I did have to return the first pair because they were too big. I usually wear a 6 or 6 1/2. I read the reviews about the sizes and then the shoe description itself said to order 2 sizes bigger. So I went in between and ordered a 7 1/2. I sent them back and the 7 fit perfectly.

I purchased these shoes to wear to Zumba classes and am glad I did. I'd previously worn flat split-sole studio shoes (sometimes called jazz shoes) that offered no support. My arches, with which I'd never before had problems despite my being in a semi-pro dance troupe, had begun hurting badly. Regular "gym" shoes were no better, as they tended to grip the floor as I turned and caused stress on my knees. These problems ended when I started wearing my Dansneakers. I'm able to toe-point, jump and spin with ease.

To those women who, like me, have a wide foot, I'd say give these shoes a chance. I wear a 6.5 W and and as these only come in full sizes and a medium width I purchased a 7. After 2-3 classes they began to loosen up a bit and conform to my foot, and I don't feel pinched. As they are a half-size too long, the front of the heel portion of the sole hits a bit far back onto the heel of my foot, but otherwise they have been fine to wear.

I was told by another member of my Zumba class who had the same shoes to expect my lower legs to be tired when I first wore them, but not to worry because after a couple of classes it would go away. This proved to be true.

My shoes are holding up well and I'm sure I'll be wearing them for a long time to come.

These are great, I would buy a full size larger than I normally wear if I did it over again. I had been told they run small, it is quite true. I bought a half size up, they are okay but probably should have gone full size up.

The Size 5.5 was difficult to achieve this, my daughter 6 needs urgent this for their classes, and we really surprised both by how quickly that we received the tennis.The quality of Capezzio...excellent .Thks.
