My first dance shoe.,

This review is from: Capezio Women's BR68 Julia Latin 2.5" Ballroom Shoe (Apparel)
This is my first review ever of my first dance shoe. Overall I like them despite the taps on the heel recently breaking and they tend to pinch in the toes after awhile. But I'm a beginning ballroom dance student and this was my first shoe not knowing what kind of shoes to purchase. I typically wear a 7 1/2 street shoe but I got these in an 8 for comfort because I did not know if they ran small or not. I wish somebody told me that dance shoes stretch over time unlike street shoes. So get your street shoe size to begin with. I think the pinching in the toes I'm experiencing is because the shoe is stretching and my foot is slipping down after danceing for a couple of hours. The shoes glides across the floor nicely and if you're a lady who doesn't always have pedicured toes, this is a nice way to conceal. Oh and 2.5 is not that high of heel, so balancing is not a concern.
