I bought these shoes for my daughter, who needed them for a show she was doing. They were perfect! so comfortable, although because of the split sole, the heel wobbled a little when she walked- nothing dangerous, it simply felt a little wierd. They're very slippery on the bottom, so if you don't need any traction, these shoes are perfect.

The strap broke off the first time I put the shoe on. Didn't seem to have as much support as had hoped anyway. not good for ballroom

The most comfortable shoes I've ever had! The heel is perfect height, very stable, soft sole, and I love flexible sides!

I bought this shoe for my adult daughter, who lives in Japan. She wanted a comfortable and pretty shoe, this one met all those requirements. She is not so much the dancer but a 'stander'! She is on her feet all day, teaching dancers, singers,and musicians English! We shopped online and reviewed many shoes, Capezio has always made great quality character shoes. In the past my daughter has worn Capezio's for ballet, jazz and stage dance.

Ordered shoe based on street shoe size as indicated; however, the shoe was way to big! Needed to order 1 size smaller.
The quality of the shoe is good. Doesn't appear to be that flexible.

I bought these shoes to replace the current ones my daughter wears which have been terrific until the strap broke. She had her old store bought shoes for 15 months.
Unfortunately the sizing on the online bought shoes was quite irregular. We purchased a 5.5W and found that they were a little longer than a usual 5.5 and much much narrower than a W(wide) fitting. In fact my daughter's old medium width shoes were much wider than the new wide width shoes (and no she did not stretch the others over time). The shoes themselves looked great but the quality control of the sizing needs to be regulated more carefully by the manufacturers. Amazon were terrific though and we were able to easily return the shoes and receive a refund. I didn't bother exchanging them in case the same thing happened so we had to buy them from a store (we live in Australia)where she tried them on first and bought a 5.5W which fitted great. Much more expensive than online though! I think if you are going to buy capezio shoes in general and are rushed for time that you might find it better to try on the pair you are buying as there might be discrepancies between shoes of the same size. I have since heard this from others as well.It might be because their shoes are hand made (probably by children in sweat shops!!) but I really am only speculating. If you don't mind shipping items backwards and forwards though it would still be worth it as they really are much cheaper even with shipping to buy from amazon than our local dance shop. We had run out of time as my daughter needed them for class but otherwise I probably would have given it at least one more try.

I was initially worried ordering this online because it might run small or big. But I took a chance as this costs twice the price here in Australia. I told myself that in the event it doesn't fit me well then I can sell it to one of my dance mates. Since they don't deliver this item overseas, I had it delivered to my mother-in-law's CA address and asked her to bring it when she comes to visit us. The minute she handed them over to me, I tried it on and gee, I lucked out! Perfect fit! I decided to break it in during yesterday's rehearsals. It was so easy to glide and pirouette in it. No blisters on my feet and the heel height is just right. Capezio Forever!!!
