5.0 out of 5 stars GOOD CHOICE
After searching on Amazon and reading the reveiws, I decided on this Capezion Women's Teletone Xtreme Tap Shoe. I was not disappointed.

The shoe is very comfortable, soft and doesn't have a big heel, which I didn't want as a beginner. The best part about this shoe was going to my class and having the teacher of over 15 years of experience tell me that I...

2.0 out of 5 stars Good sound but...
These shoes were to take place of the CG 09 I believe, which had a one screw design. These have the more traditional 3 screws. The sound is very nice for the price, what is not nice though is that the screws fall out. After two or three times of use the screws feel out, so we sent them back and got an exchanage and the screws fell out again! We have had a few people...

After searching on Amazon and reading the reveiws, I decided on this Capezion Women's Teletone Xtreme Tap Shoe. I was not disappointed.

The shoe is very comfortable, soft and doesn't have a big heel, which I didn't want as a beginner. The best part about this shoe was going to my class and having the teacher of over 15 years of experience tell me that I made an excellent investement. She further said that I would have the shoes for many years given its quality and that I would only need to replace the taps.

I was a little scared of purchasing 1 size higher, so I went with a 1/2 size higher. It fits nicely and is comfortable, but I could have bought the 1 size higher as my feet get a bit swollen after work when I have my classes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Teletone Xtreme Tap Shoe - CG55, April 17, 2007
These tap shoes are very comfortable with good sound. I wear a men's size 9 1/2 or 10 so ordered a size 12 in this shoe. They are a little too large so a size 11 may have been a better choice.

I am going to try the hoofster 100.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love these tap shoes!, July 20, 2009
This review is from: Capezio Women's CG55 Tele Tone Xtreme Tap Shoe (Apparel)
I absolutely love these shoes. Great sound, good fit (I wear size 7 so I ordered these in 7 1/2 and I'm glad I did.) I'm getting back to tap dancing after 8 year break and these shoes are the same ones I used to have back then. Love them, love them, love them!!! :o)

4.0 out of 5 stars Capezio Teletone Xtreme Tap shoe, January 17, 2012

I just bought this tap shoe for my daughter who is on a competition tap team. The shoe is made very well. Sounds great and no break in period. The only thing is it definitely runs small. My daughter usually wears a size 4 in a regular shoe. Bought this in a size 6 and fits perfectly.

5.0 out of 5 stars capezio (women) teletone, November 26, 2011

I bought these for my son. The hardest part about ordering is getting the right size. We got a 6 1/2 W and the shoes fit me & my son. I wear a street size 6 c. These fit me well--not snug or tight--more on the loose side--but I haven't danced tap much so I don't know it they will be too loose. My son likes them. they are a good price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pleased with shoe purchase, November 19, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
First off, the tap shoes arrived way before the estimated delivery, which was a fantastic surprise and a great plus for me. I ordered these to replace my daughter's beginner tap shoes. The difference in sound is amazing. The sound on this shoe is clean and crisp and we can hear all the sounds for the advanced steps. She typically wears a size 8.5 sneaker, so I ordered a size 9. They fit well and she is comfortable, unless maybe if socks are required. All in all its a fantastic buy. I'm happy, she's happy and her instructor is pleased.

These replaced my tweenage tapper's outgrown CG09 shoes after we purchased a more rehearsal-quality shoe from her studio (which frustrated her because they had a poor sound and she couldn't do toe stand turns in them). So, I reinvested in Capezio shoes, choosing these CG55 because they most closely resembled the CG09s that she had loved. They were a perfect fit size-wise, and she is all smiles again. If these stand the test of time like her old Capezio shoes did, these will be absolutely worth the cost. Learned my lesson!
